Transforming Leaders

We are in a rapidly changing world. The pace and scale of change are accelerating.

But, as a leader, are you hitting the mark?

Innovative disruptions happen in and to organizations, leadership, and individual lives by the accelerated pace and scale of technological, digitization, globalization, competition, and industrial, political, global health, economic, and societal changes. Evolution in technology and digitization are causing paradigm shifts in various industries, such as Government, Financial, Insurance and Banking, Media and Entertainment, Hospitality, Healthcare, Transporation, Retail, Food and Beverage, Education, Supply Chain, and Faith-based organizations.

Therefore, organizations and leaders that fail to recognize and respond rapidly or lead these emerging trends and innovations will be left behind or entirely left out.

For leaders, these changes result in the disruption of the status quo and impact the traditional business model, market share, market position, and capital allocation. There is a driving need to adapt and evolve an innovative strategy that technology enables quicker and more efficiently. Leaders must establish the appropriate plan to invest in new initiatives, customer-focused solutions, and innovative business models that would catapult growth, mitigate the risk of future business disruption, or pioneer industry changes. But change is difficult and painful. Leaders need to be equipped, empowered, and educated to develop transformational leadership skills to implement innovation, sustain competitive advantage, inspire followers, and influence change successfully.

We are in a rapidly changing world. The pace and scale of change are accelerating. As a leader, are you engaged, equipped and empowered for a rapidly changing future?

Leadership Transformation

A future-ready transformation innovative strategy requires a clear vision, describing the burning platform, driving the need for change, the assessment of the risks of not changing. Tactics to influence the buy-in and to reinforce the benefits realization such as productivity, profitability, positioning, and performance, in addition to corporate social responsibility and sustainability goals.

Future-ready organizations intentionally focus on their transformation strategy, roadmap, and governance in alignment with their corporate plan to appropriately and timely transform their products, people, processes, and technology.

At Nikimac, we prepare our clients with an intentional focus to develop their servant leadership skills, solutions, structure, and strategy to lead in this modern, innovative and technological disruptive era.

Servant leaders cause a positive and valuable impact on followers, transforming the followers into leaders, positively inspiring, impacting, and influencing change at the individual, departmental, organizational, and even social levels.

  • Strategies, structures, systems, solutions, and skills.

  • Organizational culture, competencies, capabilities, and capacity.

  • Delivery models to equip people, products, services, technology, and corporate social innovative solutions.

“It must be considered that there is nothing more difficult to carry out, nor more dangerous to conduct, nor more doubtful in its success, than an attempt to introduce innovations. For the leader in the introduction of changes will have for his enemies all those who are well off under the existing order of things and only lukewarm supporters in those who might be better off under the new.”
— Niccolò Machiavelli, The Prince and The Discourses

This rapid evolution and technological era demand a new generation of leaders to deliver the value proposition, achieve business excellence, organizational effectiveness, and sustain competitive advantage.

  • Inspiring others by being good role models; influencing others through their own character, competencies, and conduct.

  • Building high-performance cohesive teams.

  • Creating the right organizational culture, capacity, and capabilities.

  • Cultivating creative ideas, value proportion, innovative business models, and solutions to gain and sustain competitive advantages and increase the bottom line

  • Engaging and executing corporate social responsibility programs to drive environmental, economic, and social impact.

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
— Simon Sinek

The PILL, Transforming Leaders Framework

Leadership is the ability to impact, inspire and influence followers positively to achieve a shared vision. Leadership is not just a position or a title; within each of us are the capabilities, whether by nature or nurture, to lead.

Individuals must establish their purpose and understand the organization’s mission and importance and the change/task. Equipping, empowering, and educating them to uncover their leadership identity as an individual makes the alignment to connect their personal goals and beliefs to the organizational vision, mission, and values. Empowerment is given to the person to take their natural role as a servant-leader and develop their servant leadership skills.

In a recent keynote, “Igniting Leaders for Innovative Disruptions,” Nicola McFadden shared real stories supporting the claim that we are in a leadership crisis. There is a growing opportunity for organizations to invest in leadership development and the talent gap in leaders to embrace the disruptive technological era and lead people with empathy. Leadership transformation should never be optional but at the highest priority of every organization. The consequences of poor leadership are all too distinct, too memorable, and far too expensive. Weak leaders negatively impact the organization’s bottom-line, performance, and quality; customer experience; employee engagement, team morale, loyalty, and trusted relationship. Continuously developing your leaders is a must-have, a mandatory requirement for any organization’s success and survival.

It is impressive to see that more and more businesses are now claiming that executive coaching is a successful leadership development approach that results in over a 5-8 times return on investment and can boost team performance, leadership effectiveness, organization productivity, and profitability. Additionally, some leaders are personally seeking out and actively participating in their leadership development and personal branding.

We are in a leadership crisis and we need a change, compassion, care, and a cure.

Nicola introduced the “PILL as a remedy” to help organizations develop and transform leaders to serve, love, lead and impact others, creating meaning and fulfillment in their lives and livelihood. The PILL focuses on the leaders having a high positive impact on others, gaining organizational alignment, and igniting, inspiring, influencing followers to become future leaders, leaving a legacy for generation and society.

The PILL presents four essential elements of transforming leaders.

“Authentic transformational leaders build something that outlives and outlasts them; leading with integrity and compassion; leaving their mark behind. They are transforming themselves, empowering and elevating their followers to become future leaders, developing high-performance teams, and world-class organizations. They are seeds and you will know them by their fruits!”
